Week 6

PROGRAMMING

This week we’ve started programming the dash and shoot abilities and updated the sword attack. We have added HP bar, a minimap and the combat system finally works.

 

MODELING

We have been fixing the character textures, because they had some errors. We have also discarded the enemy that we have already done, the buff cat. That’s due to the fact that it didn’t really match a map that was made of islands and we didn’t really like the design either way. In its stead, there will be  squid that moves through the air. It will focus the extractors (since we decided to add more, stacking up the difficulty of the game) ignoring the player. It will attack via creating puddles of ink that will damage both the character and the extractor.

MODELING

We have started modeling the map and texturizing it. Where looking about shaders and how to add an outline in unity, so the game looks more cartoony.
