Week 1
Hello everyone, in our first update, we will talk to you about what we have done this week for the game Way to Bounty.

For creating the visual aspect of characters, enemies, environments and props we use Blender. As in every character development we start with the Blocking, after that we will continue with the Sculpting of each one of the members, then we proceed with the retopologies, first the Captain’s and the the rest’s.

For the enemies we thought to make them aquatic cats. Why that? Well, we wanted enemies that would be weak to citric acid, as the Chef’s weapon is oranges. So that’s why the cats and since the scenario (which you can see below) is a planet where a great part of it’s surface it’s covered by an ocean. As you can see in the image we decided to make it really buff and are done with the sculpting.
We are starting the retopology.

SCENARIO
The scenario for the demo will be an island on a planet that is mostly covered by an ocean. As the time passes, the tide will go up and will reduce the surface of the island bit by bit. The enemies would come from said water to atack. This all makes that as the round progresses, the enemies will have more places from where to come.

Also, the scene will have props like some plant life, skeletons of the creatures that inhabit the planet or the crew’s ship.

PROGRAMMING
For developing our game we are using as motor Unity and C# as programming language. We have programmed the enemy attack and made the enemies follow both, the extractor and the player. We started programing the enemy spawn and the round system.

We have done a task network so we can keep our work updated and be more organized. A Market Analysis of the competition of our game. We made the first prototypes of the game’s interface. And lastly made a presentation of the development to our adviser

CHARACTERS
This is Rosett, a Myrk, aka one of the inhabitants of Myrkott. He was exiled from his planet for causing problems. That is why he is seeking revenge and helps the main characters in order to search the pieces of the Kompass and go back to his planet.
In game, he will help via constructing defenses and support weapons. He will also appear at the shop and sell us the blueprints for updating the weapons and defenses. Moreover, he will give us advices to defeat the enemies.
